These Newel Post Caps can be fitted to either existing or brand new Newel Posts. If you’re planning to fit these caps to an existing post, you will need to drill a hole in the post big enough for the Bottom Dowel and fix securely using PVA Wood Adhesive.

All caps are supplied and ready for you to apply your chosen finish unless otherwise specified. Choose from the following timbers: * Pine – Softwood. A yellowish wood without knots and natural character. Suitable for staining, varnishing or painting * Oak – Hardwood. Light brown clear timber with very small knots if any. Suitable for oiling, waxing, staining, varnishing or painting.

Full Cap measures 95mm high x 75mm wide (not including the bottom dowel)
Half Cap measures 95mm high x 36mm wide (not including the bottom dowel)
The Bottom Dowel measures 25mm long x 30mm wide
for 90mm Newel Post:
Full Cap measures 106mm high x 85mm wide (not including the bottom dowel)
Half Cap measures 106mm high x 41mm wide (not including the bottom dowel)
