Calmag Agent is a calcium magnesium concentrate for buffering soft or reverse osmosis water. Calmag Agent is used to increase the EC of you water supply to 0.45 if your EC is 0.45 or higher it is not necessary to add Calmag. All CANNA nutrients are designed to work best with a water supply that has an EC of 0.4 – 0.7 water with 0.7 or higher contains high levels of sodium and chloride, these elements block uptake of nutrients and can be toxic to your plants, a reverse osmosis filter can remove these elements. When to use Calmag Agent? If youe water has an EC of 0.45 or lower use Calmag Agent to increase the EC to 0.45 before adding other nutrients and additives.
