Benecos Konjac Sponges are made with 100% Konnyaku root. Konnyaku is a native Asian plant which is found growing wild at very high altitudes and it has been used for over 1500 years in Japan, China and Korea as a medicine, food and beauty product. The Konnyaku plant is naturally alkaline which ensures that the acid balance of the skin remains stable making it the perfect choice for gentle, daily cleansing for all skin types. The benecos Konjac sponge can be used on its own or with a mild cleanser, and used daily it will gently exfoliate the skin removing dead skin cells to reveal a glowing, radiant complexion. The sponge must be soaked in water for a few minutes before use and we recommend that you replace your sponge approximately every two months. When you have finished using your sponge don’t throw it in the bin it can be composted or used as a natural moisture repository in a plant pot or in the garden!
