The Claber Solenoid Valve has a 9 Volt bistable solenoid valve with low power consumption – One 9V battery is sufficient power for an entire season.
The controller has the option of up to 6 irrigation cycles, each cycles lasting between 1 minute and 24 hours. Watering options can be chosen on manual or weekly programming, with exclusion of specific days as required.
The valve controller is manufactured from PA6 plastics. It can be installed in the open or in a valve box, either directly onto the tap or water well outlet, and can operate in total submersion up to 1m depth thanks to its 100% sealed cover. The valve can also be installed either vertically or horizontally. It works between operating pressures of 0.5 to 12 Bar and temperatures between +5° and +70°, with a flow rate of 4.6 to 96 litres per hour (L/h). The electronic unit is detachable from the solenoid for safe storage during winter.
The valve connects to the irrigation system via two 1″ BSP female threaded connections.
Instructions are available to download. Top Tip! When measuring your tap, be sure to minus 1/4″ to find it’s BSP thread size. e.g. If your tap measures 1″, you will need a 3/4″ BSP threaded accessory.
