The stylish Hammershøi series dates back to the illustrator, painter and ceramic, Svend Hammershøi. In 1893 he began to work at Kähler – and remained true to the workshop until his death in 1948. This series also honours his artistic work of life. Modern interpretation of this series shows the preference of Hammershøis for voluminous vessels and vases. And of course, the characteristic must not be missing: the distinctive grooves are skilfully set on all products.
