The handmade paper today is one of the most exclusive and finest papers.
The uneven edge is the quality mark of handmade paper, which is traditionally made.
Thanks to the processing of long-fibrous pulp and chips, the paper is particularly soft, flexible and ideal for printing, both with inkjet (inkjet printer) and laser printing. The prerequisite is that your printer can handle individual dimensions (113 x 350 mm – usually this corresponds to printers that can print A3 formats) and 240 g/m² grammage.
Also ideal for the use of nibs (steel nib or keel), fountain pens or calligraphy.
These are wood-free natural papers which are acid-free, neutral glued, alkaline buffered with calcium carbonate and do not contain optical brighteners. The paper therefore meets the requirements for highest ageing resistance according to DIN 6738, DIN ISO 9706.
Did you know that the agreement between the GDR and the Federal Republic was printed on handmade paper?
