High Quality REAN Neutrik 5 Pin Din connectors with gold plated contacts suitable for a wide variety of Audio, MiDi or other Signal Control applications.
180° 5 pin din sockets are found on a wide variety of High Quality older audio devices including: Quad, Naim, A&R, Sugden, B&O, Leak, Rotel, Akai, Creek stage and many others.
These can be used with Bang & Olufsen equipment as the 5 pin din plugs fits normally into the 7 pin sockets. Pins 6 and 7 were only ever used for communication between B&O devices.
These are the standard size din plugs with the metal body measuring 33mm x 15mm with a standard MIDI type 13.2mm plug. They accept cables up to 6mm or 8mm with the rubber strain relief removed.
The contacts are numbered and have prepared cut-out holes that makes soldering on to them an easy job.
The removable connector section has a locating slot to correspond with the metal body as well as a clip-on metal cable clamp with a fixing screw which helps to ensure that assembly is simple and error free.
The metal body along with the gold plated contacts make for a durable connector that can be used time and time again producing the same great results that you would expect from a High Quality Neutrik product.
