- Giardiasis, caused by a microscopic parasite called Giardia duodenalis, is a common parasitic infection in dogs. It is transmitted through ingesting contaminated water, soil, or feces. Symptoms include diarrhea, vomiting, weight loss, lethargy, and poor coat condition. Diagnosis is done through antigen tests. Good hygiene practices and avoiding sources of contamination are crucial to prevent its spread.
- Parvovirus is a highly contagious viral disease that primarily affects dogs. It is caused by the canine parvovirus type 2 and is transmitted through the oral-fecal route. Puppies are particularly susceptible, and dogs with weakened immune systems are at higher risk. Symptoms include severe diarrhea, vomiting, loss of appetite, lethargy, and dehydration.
- Easy to use: the combined quick test has an invisible zone of T (test) and another zone of C (control). When the sample is applied, the reaction flows sideways over the surface of the strip.
