- Areas of application of the link chain sold by the metre: the stainless steel chain with DIN 763 is ideal for outdoor use. It is popular as a rain drain chain, as moisture and salts, acids or other environmental influences cannot harm the metal chain. The stainless steel chains can also be used indoors, e.g. as a lamp chain.
