WASHI-TEC is the further development of our washi tapes. The bands are very thin, cuddly and at the same time exceptionally tear-resistant and stable. This allows for precise application to smooth and slightly textured surfaces and thus prevents paint from running. This allows for extremely sharp colour edges. With this series, Kip ensures that even in professional painter’s handicrafts: WASHI-TEC stands for quality. The construction of the bands is particularly different in the areas of material quality and adhesion. WASHI-TEC has a unique and particularly balanced adhesive power, with which the adhesive optimally “bonds” to the surface. WASHI-TEC can be easily removed without leaving any residue, is UV-resistant and has a high temperature resistance. WASHI-TEC tapes have a high-quality adhesive. The addition of additives and monomers during polymerisation optimises the durability and UV resistance of the adhesive. This means that the WASHI-TEC adhesive tapes are particularly durable. This tape is our best WASHI-TEC product for sharpest lines. It is a very thin tape made of WASHI-TEC paper with high-quality acrylate adhesive. It prevents the bleeding of paint (even with glazes) and is very cuddly. In addition, the tape has good adhesion and tear resistance. It is UV resistant and easy to unroll. It is particularly suitable for extremely sharp colour edges on smooth and slightly rough surfaces. In addition, the tape is resistant to temperatures up to 120 °C.
