rength Automotive Molding Tape is a .045-inch (45 mil) thick, medium-density, black acrylic foam tape with high performance acrylic adhesives on both sides. 3M Super Strength Molding Tape creates a strong bond with both painted and unpainted automotive surfaces. With its foam core, it allows the tape to elongate and relax when put under load, which minimizes the stress along where the adhesive bonds to the vehicle surface. Typical applications include body side moldings, emblems, rocker panel moldings, claddings, wheel flares, bumper trim and other exterior and interior automotive trim components.
