Selection and Measuring】To choose the right size cover, simply measure the external housing diameter (including any ridges) with a ruler by placing it across the middle of the lens or by using a calliper. Another simple and very accurate method is to cut a thin strip of paper and wrap it around the lens housing, ensure it is tight then put a mark where it crosses the starting edge of the strip underneath it. Remove the strip and measure the distance from the starting edge to the mark you made. To get the diameter simply take this measurement and divide it by 3.14. This is the circumference to diameter calculation. 【Internal Diameter】The Internal diameter of this lens cover is actually 50mm, for a perfect fit though, we suggest lens covers are used on binoculars with an outer diameter between 50.3-51.8mm for a perfect fit.
