Product description
Product Name: PVA Mesh Carp Fishing 35mm Refill
Material: PVA
Size: 5M*18mm (Length*Diameter)
Dissolution Time: 40 seconds – 2 minutes
The dissolution speed of PVA nets is mainly influenced by temperature, pressure, and bait filling status. Higher temperatures lead to faster dissolution, lower pressure (shallower water) accelerates dissolution, and less bait filling also speeds up dissolution.
Dissolution Principle: The dissolution process of water-soluble nets involves alternating physical and chemical changes: hydrophilic—swelling—further swelling—dissolution, with the final products being carbon dioxide and water.
Usage Tips:
– Faster dissolution of PVA nets isn’t always better, as premature dissolution can cause bait dispersion, reducing the likelihood of fish biting. Hence, choose the appropriate PVA net based on fishing environment factors such as water depth and temperature.
– When not baited, this PVA net shrinks upon contact with water, which doesn’t necessarily mean it has dissolved. To test, observe the dissolution time with bait loaded.
– To prolong the net’s dissolution time, fill the bait more tightly and secure both ends tightly. For quicker dissolution, fill the bait more loosely, and don’t tie the ends too tightly.
– Due to the material’s nature, we strongly recommend absorbing excess moisture from bait with tissue or dry cloth before loading bait containing more water. Drier bait works better.
– For powdered bait, we suggest adding a little water to make it slightly sticky, preventing spillage during casting or throwing.
