cription The “Souvenir d’Italie” collection is a new link between the Alessi “Figures”. Colourful little statues as the emblem of a heterogeneous country and the wealth of its traditions: “design souvenirs” that represent the different, multi-faceted aspects of Italian style. “Venice”, is designed by Antonio Arico, who bases his poetry on family and cultural roots that he reworks in pieces bursting with imagination and dreams and who is attentive to tiny production details and whose characters copy the classic vein of fine porcelain figurines, typical of the European tradition. “Venice”, an elegant Venetian carnival mask sporting a gondola and little fish as its headdress, represents the Veneto region.
