Wherever there are combustion devices such as open fireplaces, gas boilers, instantaneous water heaters, oil heaters, etc., the invisible, odourless and fatal gas carbon monoxide can occur. The COWM510 alerts even at low but still harmful CO concentrations in the room air with an 85 dBA loud alarm sound. The electrochemical sensor has a lifespan of 10 years. The included batteries last five years and are replaceable. The CO detector has a wall mounting device or can be placed free-standing. The new carbon monoxide alarm is tested according to EN50291-1+A1: 2012.
