The AKG CK99 L is a condenser lavalier microphone designed for conferencing and public address systems like theatres and houses-of-worship.  It operates with a cardioid polar pattern across a frequency range of 15Hz – 18kHz and has a slight EQ boost above 10kHz so is engineered specifically for vocals. The CK99 L offers a 125 degree pick up angle which means that speakers who move around a lot during presentations do not experience dips in output level.  The compact housing of the CK99 L also means it can be easily mounted on clothing and is relatively inconspicuous. The AKG CK99 L outputs via a balanced XLR connection. The AKG CK99 L main features include: Audio Frequency bandwidth: 15 to 18000 Hz Sensitivity: 8.8 mV/Pa Equivalent Noise Level: 34 dB-A Signal to Noise: 60 dB-A Electrical Impedance: 200 Ohms Recommended Load Impedance: 2000 Ohms Polar Patterns: Cardiod Voltage: 1.5 to 10 V Current: 2 mA Output: Mini XLR Gender: Female Contacts: 3-pin Finish: matte black Height: 23 mm Diameter: 8 mm Net Weight: 2.5 g.
