The WMS40 Mini Dual Vocal/Instrumental Set is a true plug’n’play wireless solution. The included PT40 Mini body-pack transmitter provides a professional 3pin mini XLR connector, compatible with guitar and bass levels, headsets and instrumental mics. The included HT40 Mini handheld transmitter features a dynamic cardioid capsule for maximum gain before feedback. Their extremely long battery life of 30 hours off a single AA battery saves money in day-to-day use. The receiver offers two balanced outputs via 1/4″ jack connectors.
Every wireless microphone system transmits and receives sound on a specific radio frequency, known as the operating frequency. The crucial part in using wireless systems is the right choice of this operating frequency. You cannot combine arbitrary RF frequencies as the microphones will compete with each other, and each system will experience noisy interference and/ or drop outs. It is also not possible to use two wireless systems on one frequency in the same venue or to use two wireless microphones with just one receiver at the same time. More advanced systems offer greater frequency selection, flexibility and the ability to combine more receivers and transmitters to serve more users. In this specific case, it is not possible to use an additional two tranmitters with the same frequency on a dual system. They would need a different receiver and use a different frequency.
