6193B White Twin & Earth LSF This is a white twin and earth cable most commonly used for domestic/commercial wiring. Available in 7 sizes this is a LSF (Low Smoke & Fumes) Cable particularly recommended for fire risk areas due to its increased fire retardant qualities, reduced fume, toxic and gas emissions. This cable has met all the industry and governmental safety guidelines and standards for cables, including IS201-4: 2013 BASEC, BS EN 60338 standards. It is BASEC Approved. It is UKAS Certified. It is CE marked. Cable Construction This cable contains 3 Cores – Yellow/Green, Blue and Brown. This is a 2 core flat twin with a full size insulated (G/Y) Earth conductor 300/500v cable. New regulations in the EU require that a full sized and insulated (G/Y) earth conductor replaces the previous reduced size bare copper protective conductor (CPC). The 1.5mm² and 2.5mm² cables have a solid copper conductive wire construction whereas the 4mm², 6mm², 10mm² and 16mm² cables are constructed of stranded copper conductive wires.
