- Installation: remove the union nut with the O-ring inside it. The connection is then screwed to any component with G1/4 inch thread. On the deburred HardTube, which you want to put in the fitting, the union nut is first pushed on and then the remaining O-ring is attached. The whole thing is then pushed into the fitting until the stop. As the final step, only the union nut must be screwed to the connection.
