Amazy Fire Blanket Our fire blanket consists of 100 % glass fiber, a flame retardant material that helps extinguish starting fires. In case of an emergency, the fire suppression blanket is placed over the flames – it will then smother the fire by cutting off the oxygen supply. The Amazy fire blanket meets BS EN 1869 specifications and is designed to withstand high temperatures of up to 1250 °C. It improves your safety at home (especially in the kitchen) or in the office, e.g. in case of burning cooking oil, frying pans, waste bins, clothes, etc. The fire blanket is easy to use, making it the perfect alternative for those who are inexperienced with other types of fire extinguisher. The blanket is contained in a soft, bright red pouch with loop hole to hang it in a visible position. It has two pull cords for quick release.
