Why we need a turtle basking platform？

Both aquatic and terrestrial sea turtles need regular sun exposure, which will promote vitamin D synthesis and kill parasites.

Most of friends don’t prepare the islands of land turtles for them, so the water level is placed very low, thinking that the water is just below its back, and there is both water and sun.
