With its incomparably silky look, our Anchor Pearl Thread is a mercerized, 2-thread, slightly twisted yarn that enhances and enhances embroidery. Due to the pearl rotation and the combination of yarn thickness, it is widely used in many countries for hardanger embroidery. Anchor pearl thread is also used in some countries for cross stitch, free embroidery and other counted embroidery techniques. It is often used for crocheting. Anchor pearl yarn is made from 100% extra long Egyptian Giza cotton fibres in our own production facility using the latest technology and the most advanced dyeing methods with full respect for the environment and environmental legislation. Anchor pearl thread is tested for friction, sweat and water resistance. Plain yarns can be washed up to 95º, multicolour and ombre yarns up to 60º and metallic polyester yarns up to 30º. The yarns are dyed according to international standards in terms of washing fastness, light and friction.
