This device is designed to break toughened glass, not laminated glass. It is recommended before purchase that the customer look up the model of their car and determine which, if any, of their windows are laminated. The customer can also check their car windows, as it is a legal requirement to include a stamp with the make of the glass at one of the four corners of each window.
