The strings are made from rounded, even Bionylon monofilaments – a new material developed by Aquila that offers excellent mechanical and acoustic properties. Bionylon consists of 68% of the plant derivative castor oil, which allows a reduction of CO² emissions during the polymerisation process compared to conventional nylon. Bionylon strings offer a warm, soft sound and a small CO² footprint.
