The Aruba 300 Series Access Points offer a choice of operating modes to suit your unique management and deployment requirementsroller Managed Mode – When managed with Aruba mobility controllers, Aruba 300 series APs offer centralized configuration, data encryption, policy enforcement and network services, and distributed and centralized traffic forwardinga Instant Mode – In Aruba Instant Mode, one AP automatically propagates the network configuration to other Instant APs in the WLAN. Just turn on one Instant AP, configure it wirelessly, and connect other APs – the whole process takes about five minutes. If WLAN requirements change, the built-in migration path allows the 300 Series Instant APs to become part of a WLAN managed by a mobility controller.
