The Empire of humanity covers the entire galaxy and covers millions of worlds. Since the time of the Great Crosspits 10,000 years ago, the Empire has had to endure countless wars, victims and bloodshots. No one knows the names of the billions people who protect the Empire day after day and price the name of the immortal impperor. In Relic, two to four players take over the roles of characters from the universe of Warhammer 40,000. Each of them has special strengths, weaknesses and special abilities. Players move across the game plan, pose threats and fight opponents to fulfil tasks, step up in experience, and acquire better weapons. By completing tasks, players can acquire powerful artifacts, the so-called relics, which allow them to reach the inner level where they meet the extreme threat of the Empire. The first player to manage to pull into the centre of the board and meet the victory conditions provided by the scenario arch is the winner of the game.
