type A – M are made from electrolyte copper tube (SE-Cu in accordance with DIN EN 13600).
The tube wall thickness provides the best electrical conductivity and mechanical protection against vibration and line breakage.
Our cable lugs are annealed to ensure optimum elasticity. This is necessary as the terminals in the crimping have to withstand strong deformation and twisting of the cord while in use.
Even during oscillations and vibrations, the connector must provide reliable contact.
Under these circumstances, hardness plays a crucial role in preventing fractures and cracks.
The viewing hole ensures the correct insertion of the conductor.
The sleeve length has been selected to ensure easy and correct positioning between the press inserts during crimping.
All Cembre tube cable lugs are equipped with a security code system, e.g. A 24 (= 120 mm2).
When crimping with hexagonal press inserts ME the same code (A 24) will be pressed into the hexagonal surface by the pressing insert. With retrospective monitoring, an easy check is possible and confusion is impossible.
The cable lugs are electrolytically tin-plated to prevent oxidation. –
