The Astute project is the realization of the Italian dream: born from the cooperation of Venetian craftsmen, specialising in the construction and construction of hand-made bike saddles, and enthusiastic entrepreneurs. Based on intensive analyses and studies in the laboratory and on the road, Astute developed a long series of international patents that set standards for bikers in the fields of technology, performance, comfort and styling. The result is for the first time completely novel and smart saddles made for professional cyclists and for those who really love biking. The Miss line from Astute represents the right mix of a race-oriented road bike saddle with feminine-inspired elegance: curved and comfortable in the right places, it supports the athlete with the right shape. The innovative concept is based on compact dimensions in the dimensions 250 x 145 mm and represents one of the lightest women’s saddles on the market. The MISSLite saddle is equipped with the double-patented single-shell construction in nylon carbon and takes up the Astute philosophy of sportiness, combined with exquisite design. Building on the T.D.S. concept, the Astute Top Design System, all the advantages of an open saddle are harmonized with the design features of a closed saddle. The MISSLite saddle is characterised by a sporty low height and is equipped with lightweight carbon rails with a thickness of 7 x 9 mm. The innovative bi-density padding system with multiple degrees of hardness ensures extra seating comfort over the different areas of the saddle pad: the pad is unrivalled soft and comfortable on the saddle nose, where only low pressure prevails to allow a comfortable sitting posture in this area. For optimal support of the much stronger load in the area of the seat bones, the pad is equipped with a significantly harder foam in the back area. In total, two different hardness zones adapted to the time trial position ensure optimal adjustment of the saddle to the respective seat pressures. At the same time, the use of a completely new progressive memory foam ensures optimal recovery of the cushion after loading; thus a constant cushion geometry is guaranteed over the entire service life. This concept is rounded off by a special premium microfibre saddle cover: it is robust, yet soft, yet waterproof, breathable and washable. The Starlite combines its round shape with a perineum relieving cut-out in the middle.
