Composition :
Keratin is the main protein constituent of the hair. It has very many properties that naturally gives the hair:
Brightness: keratin has the ability to reflect light. When keratin is perfectly formed, the scales of the cuticle have a perfectly smooth and flat façade giving the hair a beautiful mirror finish.
Plasticity: Keratin ensures the plasticity of the hair, that is to say its ability to retain a given shape. It therefore allows to extend the effects of a blow-drying or smoothing.
Elasticity is the most amazing property of keratin: the cortex (“bark” means and more robust part of the hair), keratin structured helices twisted fibers allows the hair to stretch like a spring, then easily return to its original length.
