The bike-rak carries up to five bikes on a very robust steel frame with two slot-in horizontal arms. The horizontal arms can be pointed down when not in use, and the whole assembly tilts to allow access to the boot. A lighting bar will be required if the bikes hide the car lights or number plate. Finished in bright rust-proof zinc finish. Uses the immensely strong bak-rak tow-ball mount assembly. Bikes hang from the cross-bar so some ladies bikes may require a clamp-on bar to allow them to fit. Not suitable to use while towing as it uses the tow-ball to mount. Suitable for bikes total weight up to 75kg. Typically for three adult bikes and two smaller bikes. The arms can be mounted at a low level to carry luggage and a plastic tray is available direct(see picture) to carry luggage or for use to take rubbish to the dump etc. Any large box can be mounted on the arms and several options are available direct from bak-rak.
