In the first half of the last century, Benlee was a great name in boxing. In the late 1930s, Benlee started to produce boxing equipment. Throughout the 1940s and 1950s, Benlee was the choice of top level fighters: “Brown Bomber” Joe Louis, “Jersey” Joe Walcott, Jake “The Raging Bull” La Motta and “The Brockton Blockbuster” Rocky Marciano all stood in the ring with Benlee boxing equipment. In Memory of Rocky Marciano, the best boxer of all time, The Punch GmbH revived the tradition and added his name to the brand – BenleeRockyMarciano.
