Digital Voltage Detection Relay (DVSR) allows you to charge a second battery bank from any charging source. When the voltage on the charged bank increases enough, the DVSR is activated allowing the second battery bank to charge. When charging stops and voltage drops, the DVSR automatically isolates battery banks, ensuring engine starter batteries are kept fully charged. Digital circuits provide superior reliability and extremely low power consumption. Digital enhancements have introduced remote sensing circuits that allow an optional connection from the ignition switch to provide the same functionality as single way VSR and zero power consumption when the engine is off. Another benefit is zero standby current consumption when the remote detection circuit is used with an installed storage mode switch (switch in open position).
Bep Marine 710-140A Digital Voltage Sensing Relay, Grey, Single
$205.99
- The digital charging relay (VSR) allows charging a second battery (e.g. services) from a single charge source
- Surface or mounting panel
- When the motor starts and the voltage in the motor battery reaches 60% charge; the VSR comes into operation allowing the second battery to be charged
- When the voltage of the motor battery drops (e.g. the motor stops) the VSR disconnects and isolates the 2 batteries; eliminating the possibility of the engine battery being discharged
- Safely charge two or more independent battery banks from a charging source, such as an alternator or battery charger
- Charge the engine starter batteries before combining the auxiliary bank to charge.
- Prevents starter batteries from crushing with household charges
