The Caps are rebated on the underside to fit over 82mm or 82mm Full and Half Newel Posts. All caps are supplied and ready for you to apply your chosen finish unless otherwise specified. Choose from the following timbers: Pine – Softwood. A yellowish wood without knots and natural character. Suitable for staining, varnishing or painting Oak – Hardwood. Light brown clear timber with very small knots if any. Suitable for oiling, waxing, staining, varnishing or painting. Newel Post Cap Dimensions Our Pyramid and Flat Newel Post Caps are available in either Full or Half Options. Full Newel Post Caps Overall Measurement 110mm x 110mm x 27mm Rebated 90mm x 90mm Half Newel Post Caps Overall Measurement 110mm x 53mm x 27mm Rebated 90mm x 43mm Blueprint Joinery Newel Posts do not come with Newel Caps.
