Air in a heating system can be, annoying, especially as it often results in excess noise in the radiators and pipes, as well as system components such as circulating pumps. Air can also severely impact system performance by preventing radiators from heating up properly as they no longer fill completely with water. Whilst it’s common to get air bubbles in your central heating system, a healthy heating system should be air-free, otherwise, you run the risk of the heating system oxidising with corrosion and seriously affecting system performance and damaging components such as boilers, valves, radiators and pumps. Featuring our 2-way 360° diverter and watertight twin-seal design, Boiler-m8 air-separators provide the highest level of system protection when partnered with our range of magnetic filters, protecting your boiler, system and components. The Boiler-m8 AirMaster should be installed on the flow from the boiler, to remove air created by the heating process before it can get into the system. The Boiler-m8 AirMaster is designed to be system friendly. Our technical experts have ensured that the advanced design features allow effective removal of air and non-magnetic system debris, whilst minimising pressure loss. Normally installed to the flow pipe immediately after the boiler, system water is diverted through our 2-way diverter into the Air-Master body. Our full-bore design maximises the flow and the stainless steel particulate filter both agitates the system water, forcing air-bubbles to rise upwards into the vent chamber, and also traps any non-magnetic debris from the system. The automatic air-vent purges the trapped air from the discreetly within its vented cap, keeping the system air-free and operating at maximum efficiency.
