Brass Radiator Bleed Key for Removing Trapped Air/Valve Venting

$18.99

  • A high quality brass radiator valve bleed key with a clock type handle – ideal for bleeding air from radiators.
  • Fits all UK radiators, an invaluable tool for keeping your central heating system working efficiently, making your house warmer and reducing your fuel costs.  Use this key to remove air which can naturally occur in the top of radiators and reduce the heating capacity.
  • To use, with the central heating system on and pumping water through the radiators, simply have a cloth positioned below the bleed valve on the top of your radiator (a small square headed screw on one side at the top), using the key gently loosen the bleed valve to remove any air (you may hear a hissing sound as it escapes). Once water begins dripping through to the cloth, the air has been removed so re-tighten the bleed valve and you can move onto the next radiator.
  • Perfect for when you start your heating system again in Autumn or for general maintenance throughout the colder months.  If your radiators are not uniformly hot, removing any air is always the first simple step to achieving a warmer house.
  • Recycling Information: We Use Label-Free Packaging Which Is Suitable For Your Household Recycling Collection
