This is a 100ml bottle of sage (salvia OFFICINALIS) supplied in amber glass to prevent deterioration through sunlight with a tamper evident cap and integral dropper. This is a high quality oil suitable for aromatherapy. The properties of sage are reported as follows. Constituents: thujone, 1.8-Cineole, Camphor, linalool. Origin: distilled from the flowering tops and leaves. From Southern Europe, particularly former yugoslavia. Used as a nerve tonic in the middle Ages. Contraindications: avoid during pregnancy, when high blood pressure or epilepsy. General: very stimulating and restoring. Good for convalescence and muscle tiredness. Aids concentration.
