CANSON XL® Sand Grain Grain Sketch Pad with Sandpaper Surface A4 40 Sheets 160 GSM

The CANSON XL® Sand Grain is a grey drawing paper with a sandpaper-like surface and a surface weight of 160 g/m2. It is suitable for all drying techniques, especially pastel, coal, chalk, and graphite. Its velvety and distinctive texture of the surface, which resembles sandpaper, is obtained by fibre inclusions of special materials of biological origin. The pigments thus adhere to its surface excellently, allowing subtle colour transitions to be created and controlled. The surface also allows painting in layers. With the paper for drying techniques, monochrome as well as polychrome drawings can be perfectly realized. The coloured background provides exciting contrasts. The paper is durable for erasing and blurring. The special thing is that it can be used on both sides. The study quality drawing paper offers an optimal price/performance ratio for beginners and frequent users. The high number of sheets of the block allows a variety of creations. The paper is acid-free and free from optical brighteners, ensuring that the white tone will last over time and the drawing paper will not yellow. In addition, it complies with the ISO standard 9706 and thus fulfils an optimal longevity. The paper fibres are made from FSC® certified wood. This ensures a sustainable forest economy. The cardboard on the back provides enough stability to use the pad on the go. The spiral pad is equipped with a micro-perforation, which allows easy removal of the sheet.
