Carson’s FreeStand is a 2.5x pre-focused stand loupe with four bright LED lights that operate with a simple push. The FreeStand’s rectangular shape and angled lens is designed for reading in a comfortable position, especially the small print on newspapers, magazines, books, and coupons. It also makes a great inspection tool for items like stamps and currency. Its crystal clear, high-quality acrylic lens helps keep the FreeStand lightweight and easy to move, and also has the benefit of being shatterproof and harder to break. A microfiber cleaning cloth is included so that you’ll always have a clear view.
Pressing down on the FreeStand activates four bright LEDs to ensure a clear view of your subject in any lighting. These lights are powered by two CR2016 button cell batteries that are included with the magnifier. The FreeStand also has an on/off switch in the base of it to ensure that the LEDs don’t activate accidentally and drain the batteries while in storage or transport.
