We used a fabric on the back that blocks 95% of harmful UV rays and sewn in a second layer on the front so that light fabrics are not transparent. The 3/4 zip allows you to open the shirt uphill while the lining keeps it modest, and the three back pockets have plenty of room for a light jacket and food. This all-round top is great for climbing and everything else.
