The third addition to Hearts of Space hit Celtic Twilight series is a splendid collection of lullabies by veteran Celtic vocalists Niamh Parsons and Frances Black of Arcady, soloists Mairéd Sullivan and Nóirín ní Riain, plus new discoveries Kate Power and Julie Last and childrens singer Linda Arnold. Also featured are two exquisite choral works – by the wonderful Irish choir Anúna and by composer Bill Douglas – plus tender instrumentals by Barbara Higbie and William Coulter and fiddler Alasdair Fraser. Keyboard/flute duo Jeff Johnson & Brian Dunning and vocalist Talitha Mackenzie are back from previous celtic Twilight releases. These peaceful songs set an idyllic mood, but surprisingly deep and thoughtful lyrics engage the adult mind. Sure to be cherished by parents and children of all ages.
