The emulsion can be used for a long time thanks to the bacteriostatic action carried out by CFG OTP
- The specific lubro-coolant effect of the emulsion obtained with CFG OTP reduces the work needed for cutting and lowers the temperature to the metal/tool interface original profile and mechanical characteristics of the cutting element are preserved longer microrugosity of the cutting surface becomes smaller
- The slightly basic behaviour of the emulsion with CFG OTP (at higher concentrations pH is 9.5) and the slight greasiness conferred on the metal slow or prevent oxidative phenomena, even in fairly adverse environmental conditions.
- The addition of bactericides is not necessary and emulsion replacement may occur less frequently. CFG OTP contains no nitrites, has good anti-foaming power and no vapour.
