Usage:Before first use, you must adjust it to match your pool or spa water :
1. Test your pool or spa water using a conventional liquid test kit 2. Record the chlorine reading level as you will need. 3. No adjustment is required for pH adjustment point for chlorine testing: 1. Insert 1pc AA 1.5V battery in the compartment. 2. Hold the tester and probe it. 3. Insert the cleaned metal probes into the water up to black band. 4. Stir the water slightly. 5. With probe in water, turn wheel on the face of tester all the way to left towards”CL”. Slowly turn wheel back to right until the needle matches the chlorine level you recorded with the convention liquid tester(e.g.: 1.5ppm) 6. Remove probes from the water without touching wheel. Indicator will move to the right and stop on a letter between A and E. It is your “adjustment point”ing Chlorine Level: Recommended chlorine level for pools and spas: 1.2 ~ 1.7ppm 1. Position needle to your “adjustment point”. 2. insert probes into the water up to the black band. Wait until needle rests for a better chlorine reading. 3. Leave probes in the water pH Level: Recommended pH level for pools and spas: 7.2 ~ 7.8 1. With probes still in water, turn wheel all the way to “pH” until it clicks(battery must off for pH reading). 2. Wait until needle rests on pH reading. 3. Dry probes and insert into holder on the side of tester for storage.
