Designing an ergonomic pen that looks good is no simple task, according to Jaguar-trained design consultants J&B – who consulted on the project. It is about combining the right grip and balance with the right materials and aesthetic. So Colibri worked with artists, handwriting experts and accessory designers to find the optimum form: the result is the Equinox.
Equinox writing instruments are characterized by a smooth black or white lacquer casing and a trademark ‘artists brush’ handle shape. They handle beautifully and do not compromise on weight or durability. All Equinox instruments feature the Colibri ‘slice’ motif that runs throughout its product range. Pencils, fountain pens, and rollerball come with commonly available refill systems, and a durable steel spring clip.
