These wire rope cable thimbles are suitable for the formation of eyelets or eyebolts at rope ends. Our thimbles for rope applications serve to reinforce the rope eye and are made of Q235 sheet steel. They protect the material (wire rope) from wear & tear & facilitate the attachment of lines, bolts & shackles. With wire ropes they bend towards a bending of the rope & prevent a possible rope break. The drop-like shape of the thimbles makes it easy to thread in all types of rope. The corresponding rope is placed around the thimble heart & the resulting eyebolt is fastened with a press clamp, press sleeve, crimp sleeve or rope clamp. Our Constrabo rope thimbles are suitable for both steel ropes, natural ropes or synthetic ropes & are versatile in the private & industrial sector. Our DIN6899B thimbles are standardized and have a very high processing quality! If safety requirements are placed on the rope connections, thimbles must not be used. - Use: Heart thimbles are particularly suitable for the formation & reinforcement of eyelets or eyebolts at the rope ends (rope eye). In the case of wire ropes, the thimble is clamped into the wire rope eye with a ferrule or wire rope clamp. They facilitate the attachment of bolts, shackles & clamps.
