Constrabo industrial-quality aluminium ferrules (pressing sleeves, aluminium sleeves) in accordance with DIN EN 13411-3 (formerly DIN 3093) for wire ropes, steel-wire ropes, & other types of rope. Their oval shape makes it easy thread the rope when creating a loop. These aluminium wire rope pressing sleeves can be pressed using a vice or a pipe wrench. For larger tensile loads & for professional uses, we recommend special pliers.
Thanks to the oval shape, the rope can be easily inserted during production. Our Constrabo steel-wire pressing sleeves are versatile press clamps (ferrules) for connecting, clamping & holding non-detachable cable-end connections as well as for producing loops with & without thimbles. Ferrules are used for the production of eyes, loops & stops on steel wire ropes & cables.
Aluminium pressing sleeves in accordance with DIN EN 13411-3 may be used in accordance with the relevant regulations in lashing & lifting gear as well as part of static systems. Pressing sleeves made of aluminium may be used as fasteners for steel cables with a fibre core at ambient temperatures from -40 degrees C to +100 degrees C. For ropes with a steel insert, the permissible temperature rises to +150 degrees C.
In our store store, you will find pressing sleeves for crimping wire ropes with a wire diameter from 1 mm to 10 mm. The size specification of the rope strength in mm indicates for which rope strength (wire ropes & other types of ropes) the pressing sleeves can be used! Al pressing sleeves with 1 mm rope thickness are used for grouting 1 mm thick wire ropes, ferrules with 2 mm rope thickness for 2 mm thick wire ropes etc. …
