The Createx Illustration Colours have been developed, refined water-based airbrush colours, optimised for the use of Dru Blairs ‘Colour buffer system’. The illustration colours provide a very fine and detailed work. They are transparent, removable, can be wet again and are very good for erasing.
The illustration colours are developed for fine artists and illustrators without relying on high opaque primary colors.
The Createx Illustration Colours are non-fading. We will send you the same high quality pigments as those used in the Wicked Colors and the AutoAir Colours. The decisive difference is the resin used. Do not leave the illustration colors do not dry on a hard, insoluble surface layer, but can be redissolved with the help of ammoniacal glass cleaner. Another important characteristic of the resin is its easily erasable nature, so it can be erased as much as the artist intends. The illustration colours can be compared to the very elastic and durable Wicked Colors, which are very easily wiped and cleaned.
The Createx Illustration Colours can be processed undiluted. They can be sprayed through small nozzles from over 0.15 mm at a low pressure straight from the bottle. In contrast to the Wicked Colours, Wicked Detail Colours and Auto Air Colours, which can also be processed with spray guns, the illustration colours have been developed only for airbrush devices. They are not suitable as a primer. The Createx Illustration Reducer (thinner with drying acceleration) and the Createx Illustration Transparent Base (thinner or colour without pigments) give the illustrator the option to control the thickness of the illustration colour according to personal preference to achieve a more transparent look. Most artists use the undiluted colour.
