What are WingLights?
WingLights are CYCL’s high quality bicycle turn signals. These lightweight, durable, waterproof turn signals are easy to install and even easier to use. Held in place via a metal mount and magnetic back, WingLights produce a bright flashing light when activated. Not only can WingLights be seen from all angles at any time of the day, they can be turned on or off without moving your hands from the handlebars. When removed, the units clip together to form a keyring on a caribiner for safekeeping. WingLights have been featured in The London Evening Standard, Road Safety GB, and Road, and are what we strongly believe to be the next step in cycling safety.
Approximately 75% of all cycling accidents occur at major intersections and while turning. CYCL aims to reduce this figure by helping to increase cyclist visibility in these dangerous areas. When using WingLights as a supportive visual aid, drivers and other road users are more likely to notice your change in direction – lowering the chance of collisions and helping to increase your confidence while riding.
WingLights360 Mag provides riders with the all-round visibility and encourage drivers to maintain a safe passing distance. Pressing and holding their button activates WingLights360s permanent light function, with white (front) and red (back) LEDs highlighting the riders’ dimensions. With a single tap they transform into direction indicators, informing other road users of the cyclists’ intentions thanks to flashing orange LEDs.
