Our kitchen work board olive tree is environmentally friendly and is made from 100% natural olive wood with no added toxins or chemicals. Olive wood is known as sustainable as it is fortunately not on the Red List of threatened species of the IUCN. Our effort to deliver high quality, handcrafted pieces of olive wood supports and strengthens cultural sustainability. - CARE AND MAINTENANCE – Olive wood is moderately durable indoors and can last for years with proper care. Tips for care and maintenance: *Not dishwasher safe! A quick hand wash with lukewarm water and a mild liquid detergent is sufficient. *Wipe off excess water with a cloth and let it air dry. *Never let the wood chopper soak in water!
