- The passe-partouts are cut to size for frequently used standard picture frame formats. The centered inner section is in the optimal relationship between the passe-partout and the picture motif.
- An additional optical depth effect is achieved by the 45° oblique cut and the white or black cutting edge. The passe-partout places the image visually in the foreground.
