Note:
1. This compass is designed for car, boat or watercraft and the reading is totally opposite to normal compass. For example, when you are facing NORTH while the compass is placed in front of you, the reading shows “N” to you and “S” pointing north direction. The reading facing you is the correct direction that you are facing, that is “N”.
2.The compass will deviate due to the interference of magnetic objects in the car/boat. This product has an adjustment and correction device.
Compass adjustment and correction method steps:
One: north-south direction deviation adjustment
(1): Park the car/boat in the north-south direction.
(2): Choose a place that is convenient for you to observe, and place the compass in a position relatively undisturbed by cars/boats.
(3): Put the compass in a certain position and observe the red indicator line. Not disturbed by the magnetic field in the car
The red indicator line below should point north. In the case of interference from the magnetic field in the car/boat, the red indicator line will be northward. At this time, insert the adjustment tab into the north-south adjustment hole, and rotate to align the north-south indicator line on the dial with the red indicator line.
Two: east-west direction deviation adjustment
(1): Park vehicles/boats in east-west direction
(2): When the red indicator line of the compass is not aligned with the east on the dial, adjust the key blade insert
Adjust the rotating key blade in the slot to align the east on the dial with the red tick mark.
